Fees and Payments

Reid Early Childhood Centre (RECC) fees are reviewed annually by the RECC Management Committee and adjusted as required to ensure the sustainability of the Centre and maintain the quality service we provide families. As of 15 February 2021, fees are $125 per day.

RECC is pleased to offer a 10% discount (on the total weekly fee) to families whose children attend the Centre five days per week.

We offer an all-inclusive long day care service to families. Daily fees include:

  • morning and afternoon tea;
  • a hot lunch;
  • a late snack;
  •        wet wipes and bedding; and
  • supplementary literacy and music/movement programs e.g. storytelling, puppetry, first nations workshops and performances.

We cater for children’s individual dietary requirements, including meals that are halal, vegetarian and allergy friendly.  Parents are required to provide disposable nappies for children who use them.

$125 daily

for all children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old.

Full daily fees are charged to families for all enrolled days.

Payment Options

We offer two fee payment options:

  • Eftpos located in the Centre reception, payments via Savings, Cheque or Credit Account will be accepted, or
  • Bank Transfer to our nominated account.

Weekly statements are issued on a Monday via email, with payments due by the Friday of the corresponding week.

Bond & Waitlist Fee

Whilst RECC has a high demand for placements we do not charge families to join our waitlist.

When we offer a placement at the Centre, we require the payment of a bond. This bond guarantees a place and start date for your child. The bond amount reflects the current value of two weeks of care and is non-refundable. However, the bond will be applied to your account towards the last two weeks of fees when we receive two weeks notification that your family or child is leaving the centre.

More information about our waitlist and enrolments can be found on the enrolments page.

Child Care Subsidy

RECC is an approved child care provider for the purposes of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

The CCS replace the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) with a single, means-tested subsidy.  It is paid directly to providers to be passed on to families.  You must apply through Centrelink to receive these payments.

Your child must be linked to our Centre in order to claim the CCS. RECC will require you to provide both your family and child’s Centrelink Customer Reference Numbers (CRN) in order for you to receive the CCS.

More information about Australian Government assistance for working families, including eligibility for CCS can be found on the Department of Human Services and Department of Education and Training websites.
